I AM GALAPAGOS PROJECT

This project is part of the Ecuadorian Environmental Identity program, which seeks the conservation of the Galapagos National Park, through the re-creation of this identity by the community.

The methodology used is environmental education based on the use of multiple intelligences and neurolinguistic thinking. His method is characterized by socio-educational workshops, so that the community knows the Galapagos through videos and photographs and interprets its tourist, economic and scientific importance. Its pedagogical instrument is the playful activity applied in a sticker album and the corresponding visits to this National Park to complete the knowledge. In addition, this project intends, in its relationship with the population of the Galapagos Islands, to promote local enterprises, related to sustainable and sustainable use.

Likewise, the commitment of this project is to bring low-income students to this Protected Natural Area

This project can be applied in Educational Institutions in the following way:

The Foundation is responsible for: the dissemination of the sticker albums, giving workshops with the content already programmed, and organizing the visit of the students to the Galapagos National Park; where more talks are given with specialist biologists and the flora and fauna species of this Park are recognized in the territory.

I am Galapagos- Community

This project also applies to the national and international community interested in knowing these Islands, their content and scientific importance. In the same way as in Educational Institutions, the Foundation is responsible for giving educational and promotional workshops to the community, and the corresponding visits to this Biosphere Reserve.
